Downs Infant School

Our web address is www.downsinf.brighton-hove.sch .uk

There will be times that children will not be able to attend school, even though they are well enough for learning.  These could include individual or group absences due to Covid 19, or closures to the school or part of it for health and safety reasons.  In this event, we expect parents to support continued learning at home, and you can find our blended learning policy here.

The main platform for home learning is Tapestry.  If you cannot access it, please contact the school office.  If you would like additional ideas for home learning, please use the resources below.

Please remember that the main 'work' of childhood is play, and provide opportunities for play (especially outside) as much as possible.  We will be running a webinar during the first half of the Autumn Term on play and learning, and introducing you to 'REAL Play', a new programme to support active learning.
